The College of Engineering Kallooppara, which is located in the Sylvan hills of the Pathanamthitta district, is one of the top universities among the South Indian engineering colleges of the new generation. The college was established in 2004 under the supervision of the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD), a Kerala government initiative, and since then it has had a significant impact on the technical landscape of the state. The institution provides graduate-level programs in cyber forensics and information security in addition to undergraduate programs in three of the more modern engineering disciplines, including computer science and engineering, information technology, and electronics and communications.
