Ansar Women’s College has earned its strong academic reputation since its founding in 2002. It is an affiliated institution under University of Calicut well acclaimed for its academic excellence and is a name to reckon literary and extra-curricular fields. It is a self-financing post graduate college, with minority status managed by Ansari Charitable Trust, Perumpilavu, which was established in the year 1979. The prime mission of this institution is to empower and enlighten women through academic excellence embedded with moral values to face challenges and who thereby mould and will lead the successive generations.

College offers 12 UG courses and 5 PG courses. The college also conducts skill oriented add on courses which enable the students to face the highly competitive job market with self confidence. The institution caters to the weaker sections of the society by providing coaching classes for entry in services, competitive exams, and remedial classes for weak students.
