About

The International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW), which is owned by two famous universities, was founded in 2013 as a result of a collaboration between the University of Malaya (UM) and the University of Wales, UK. Since that time, the university has grown significantly, and it has remained dedicated to cultivating students who are prepared to participate to the coming industrial revolution.

One of the earliest colleges in Malaysia to offer dual award programmes is IUMW. The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD), our partner institution in the UK, offers Dual Award programmes. Students will be certified by both IUMW and UWTSD when they graduate. By spending a semester at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, students will get the opportunity to experience international education while earning dual degrees from the UK and IUMW.

The notable site of IUMW is next to Tunku Hill in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, which is surrounded by gorgeous, thick green trees and important national structures including the Malaysian Houses of Parliament, Sasana Kijang Central Bank, National Monument Park, and ASEAN Sculpture Garden. Students may easily come here using a variety of public transit options because we are close to the Putra KTM Station, PWTC LRT Station, and a mall.
