CSU Channel Islands is a distinctive school in the area because it is the only public four-year university in Ventura County. Its positive economic and financial effects boost the local economy in the counties of Ventura and Santa Barbara, the area, and the whole State. These effects result in a large rise in employment, labour income, and economic output.
